Haiku Horizons Prompt "cut"


she hums and hoes
lover waits patiently, then
"CUT THROUGH THE CHASE!”

&

 “Cut through the chase!”
her mouth quivers, tears flow,
...had an affair.

&

...had an affair
he looks dumfounded, wounded
truth cut through his heart
