Khalil Gibran wrote about trees and this is one quote that speaks to me:
“Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky. We fell them down and turn them into paper that we may record our emptiness”

Always wishing one well... positive energy.
ReplyDeleteRegrets can waste time. I enjoy my willow, she is about 24 years old.
Going to attempt to save some of the cherry and have a large bowl or two made. Depending on the size and getting a discount for bringing in the wood it will still cost a sizable chunk of change though.
That willow I'd at my best friend´s home. Great for the cherry tree!
Deletethose notes on the paper.. like a letter we hope will be read.. it's like the words we whisper to the wind.
ReplyDeleteWords whispered to the wind...I love those words!!
DeleteWords are the music of the poem. Words are the musical notes of the writer and poet.
ReplyDeleteThat is so lovely, Kristjaan. I just receive Basho The complete haiku, today. I hope to learn more.
DeleteRemembering ... but moving on ... under the willow tree. :)
