emptiness so hard to fill

  1. It seems the Egyptians had an obsession with death.
    I remember watching a program about the way even more common folk would pay for copies of The Book of the Dead for their family members to read when they passed to help insure their way to the nether world in safety. The kings, well they had the pyramids :)
    So much empty space filled with... death.
